I learnt my trade in London, where I worked for nearly 20 years in Notting Hill and Kensington, selling prime flats, larger houses and everything in between. This taught me the best tricks for negotiating hard in a competitive market. It was important to stay ahead of the game and many transactions were handled off market. My knowledge, reputation and client base have helped me build a solid and influential business throughout my career, with many crossovers between London and the country.

We relocated from London in 2004 and I later moved to Strutt & Parker’s Newbury office, where I headed up the sales department, before joining their buying arm Private Property Search. After 4 and a half very successful years, buying in the West Berkshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire, South Oxfordshire and The Cotswolds, I launched Lucy Winfield Property Advice and Acquisition. There are very few properties in my core area that are unfamiliar to me having been through a huge number of front doors during my time both selling and buying. The agents and contacts I deal with, know me well and I would hope that they would all recommend me as one of the most influential buying agents in my area.

Having recently moved out of the Lambourn Valley, where I lived for over 10 years, I am now based just North of Hungerford on the beautiful Berkshire Downs, bang on the Oxfordshire/Berkshire border with my two children and stripy whippet Flapjack. We all ride, have a keen interest in racing and my children are also very active members of The Pony Club. At weekends, we enjoy any excuse to explore the Downs and stunning area we live in.
